Already a local hero as a triple &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olympic_Games" title="Olympic Games"&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: none;color:#000000;" &gt;Olympic&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;-gold-medal-winning &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sport_rowing" title="Sport rowing"&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration: none;color:#000000;" &gt;sculler&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt; when the sport of rowing was most popular, John Kelly's brick business grew to become the largest on the East Coast.
